We started the year by creating and then painting a rocket control centre for us to use in our roleplay...

 

We used chalks and black paper to create starry night space pictures...

...and drew some fabulous rockets, ready for launch!

 

In Drawing Club this week, we read the wonderful story of a boy waiting for a star.

As we move into our mini unit about Stories and Rhymes, Humpty Dumpty had a problem - he kept falling off the wall and cracking!! We did a science experiment to find ways to stop him from cracking!
