We have had a number of children in school talking about watching 'Squid Games' Please be aware that this programme contains themes of violence and horror alongside sexual violence and a strong theme of gambling throughout. May we remind parents that this series is rated as a 15 due to its adult content, and is not suitable for primary aged children. Below is some guidance for parents, this has also been sent out via parents mail.

Children's Mental Health Week 2025 Tip of the day Teach Healthy Coping Strategies Introduce simple techniques like deep breathing, mindfulness exercises, or journaling to help your child manage stress or anxiety. One of our favourites in Finger Breathing, children (and Adults) can use this technique wherever they are to help them calm and regulate!!

Unfortunately due to power cuts we currently have no heating. With this in mind can we ask parents to bring children into school at 10am rather than normal time to allow us time to rectify the situation.
