In Maths this week, we used manipulatives to investigate factors.

In computing, for our Coding Unit, we are trying to recall our skills and design and program our own games!

 

In PSHE this week, we have been exploring our aspirations, setting long-term targets and thinking of our steps to get there.

In English, Year 6 has been looking at newspaper reports. As part of this topic, we used a "twisted" version of the Three Little Pigs story to write our own newspaper report.

 

For Antibullying Week, year 6 made posters to show our support.

 

In Art, we are focusing on the works of Chris Ofili and Turgo Bastien. We have studied two of their well-known paintings: "Another call from Africa" and "No Woman, No Cry".

We have really enjoyed learning about processed and unprocessed foods this term. This led us to creating a healthy menu and choosing one of our menu items to cook.

We made pasta, tacos and scrambled eggs!
